NEA Swiss lower

Yes, about $2100

AFAIK you would also need a LPK($459) , AR mag release,a stock and stock mounting hardware.

The $2000 553 lower comes complete and is only available complete. Still pricey but that's Swiss Arms for yah.

So do you save any money going for this vs a full Swiss?

Even if it is the same price. Id still go with the NEA lower due to the magazines and stocks.

Doh diemaco misread your post. Guess someone could save a little going that route and end up with a STANAG compatible Swiss Arms. Pricey toys...

I've got a swiss black special carbine with the NEA lower - it was a GREAT deal, as I got it for considerably less than a swiss rifle goes for (straight from NEA - I believe it was a rifle they used to work on the fit & function of their lower) - upper was either unfired (no brass ejection marks & all parts looked brand new) - or barely used.

I LOVE it - put around 1200 rounds through it & its my CQB carbine (14.3" barrel) - runs like a top & the lower is fantastic. Theres no finish left anywhere near the ejection port - he he!

Alot of NEA crap going on right now - but I have only had great products & service from them, and I know how hard it is to build your business on new products when you are the small guy up against companies that have had DECADES to troubleshoot their stuff.

Enough is enough - let them get back to building & improving their products & services - and I hope they keep moving in the right direction (including tht mysterious NR blackrifle I have heard about :))

I for one will continue to buy NEA & if there's an issue, I will patiently work with them to resolve it WITHOUT #####ing about it on the internet.

:agree:
This.

x3. Way too much negativity these days. My only NEA part is a m14 bolt stop that I just got, and it is perfect. Can't wait to see a NR black rifle, assuming I can afford it.
