The rail system is now complete and enroute to stocking dealers. Installation instructions can be found on the website.

Well just installed the rail system on my short barreled Tavor and it looks great but the frigging rear bolt for the rail stripped overly easy when I was tightening it so my rail system is hooped. Anyways I got some pics of it even though its of little use to me now.

Warranty time. PM sent.

Torque values? Would you say 20-25 in/lbs max for the large bolts? maybe 10in/lbs for the tiny one?

BTW, Looks nice with the short barrel.

i will tighten it with a wrench in the shop tomorrow. It only needs to be tightened until there is no movement in the rail. Mrsmitty must have massive pipes to strip that, although im wondering if his rail got shipped with screws to short and didnt grab enough thread, if so His was one of two that got shipped like that.

I am curious to hear back on how easy the install instructions were to follow.

Ya after looking at it looks light the damn screws were too short lol. I didn't think I turned into the hulk over the course of the day today though I never did look in the mirror to check if I did.

I installed my NEA rail on my Tavor, I must admit it was a bit more difficult than I would have liked, but I found that it was easier to install if I did not fully tighten all the smailler bolts untill I had engaged all of the screws first. I just partially started all the screws first, then went back and fully tightened them. I am refering to the smaller allen screws only.

Otherwise I love this rail system.

good to hear. It would have been easier to install if they had not of made it so the charging rod has to be out when you lock and unlock the gas block. I never thought i would say this but with all the time spent on making this rail system, i have become quite fond of the tavor.

Looking at the short barrelled Tavor and the replacement tri-rail, perhaps it might be prudent to somehow install a hand-stop? Is that possible without installing the bottom rail and installing a hand-stop onto that?

A good idea, and has been suggested. Something we may look at in the future, but not until next year.
