Anyone who is running the NEA stock adapter? Could you tell me what the height is from the top of the receiver to the top of the buffer tube portion of the stock?

I mocked up an AR stock on my VZ, and after shooting it, the cheekweld feels too high, but after speeking with NEA on the phone, he assured me that thier adapter is the same height at the cheekweld I get on the factory stock. Doesn't seem possible, but I'm trying to measure things out.

Thanks

The one with out the rail on it is the right hieght but wrong angle. The NEA makes it an inline stock. the factory one has a downward angle. The ACE one is straight line but adjustable. The Dlask one that is straight is lower than the NEA one but is still not the same angle hence why they also made an angled one. FAB recoil reducing one is also on an agle and hieght simlar to the OEM.

The guy from NEA told me that the railed adapter is too high, but the non railed, inline adapter is at the same height with the midpoint of the factory stock, and essentially gives the same cheekweld.

What do you mean when you say, "its the wrong angle"? I'd like it to have an inline stock. I'm just wondering about what height the NEA adapter gives the stock, so I make sure the cheekweld will be good for me.

Need an ace stock adaptor then.
These Dlask pics will better show you what I mean;
OEM hieght and angle:

OEM hieght and straight angle:

When you straighten the recoil you loose the ability to properly use 1's iron sights. It's a trade off. Altough if you get the ACE 1 you can adjust it to the lowest level and it will work just fine but will make your head reach for the red dot optic.

Will these adapters fit the cz with the folding stock as well as the ones with the wood stock? My son has an AR rear stock he will give me.

Are you sure? I've seen the pics of the Dlask straight AR adapter and the NEA straight AR adapter, they appear to be at the same height in relation to the receiver.

Please clarify for me.

In that coment I was reffering to this stock adaptor that NEA make's
"The Dlask one that is straight is lower than the NEA one but is still not the same angle hence why they also made an angled one."
Can someone identify what type of scope this is?

"The one with out the rail on it is the right hieght but wrong angle."
