Hey CanAm. Is there any chance you could get some info out of NEA on the NEA25, given your relationship with them? I'm interested in at least one, and some info on dates, status etc would be awesome.

Thx.

What I was told in March was 2 months, I think the lab is giving them trouble. Hopefully these will be out non-res sooner than later!

As I said it's a Rumor.

A rumor from where? There are about 5 threads on this on various forums and I haven't seen one person say two years out - everyone (including NEA) is thinking by the end of the year. If you're talking about the SCAR-H that was just resubmitted by IRG, then yes, two years is about right for that.

They already have an frt for an NEA25 AR10 as a restricted AR15 variant.

From what I've been told NEA is arguing the AR10 design predates the AR15 and therefor should be non restricted as the ar15 is a variant of the AR10 and not the other way around.

Not a new gun, just pushing an old argument.

I'very been waiting on this rifle possibly going NR for a while but since no news has come up, I ordered a PAR instead. I've been wanting an AR10 type rifle to use as my main hunting rifle since forever so I hope this works out for them. I just got tired of waiting is all. If it does go NR anytime soon I'll get one next year.

RCMP lad is slower than Union worker, they have #### 5 years behind,on a side not if you dont have an AR platform in your name right now,get one,get one NOW,you'll be glad you did,

The frt does list it as restricted, however that's with an 18" barrel as the longest option so I assume they are trying to have them look at a 18.5" barrel as a nr option
