Neat old .303 British ammo - pics

Ive got a few packs of those as well. Pick them up at gun Shows. Eventually I would like to find enough of different years/makes/types to fill a display frame and hang on the wall. Not cheap when you took at them at cost per round but considering these are quite unique I think its worth the modey for the collection.

I sometimes get tempted to open one, just to see that they are like. But since you posted this I don't have to.

I actually fired a few of those through my Jungle carbine in the summer.
Still went bang and still hit the target
They were loose in a box I got from a friend who was posted and downloading gear. Headstamps were as early as 1910!

I have a couple packs of 1905 mk6 as well keep this king about trying to blast one pack down range, but don't like hang fires.. Even my stash of '41 ammo about 1 in 7 either hangfires or just doesn't fire

I have lots of different samples of ammo. I have never fired any of it. I'll eventually pass it on to someone who appreciates old stuff. There are some younger people coming up that will keep it safe.
