Before you order - double check with Wolverine Supplies...some of the Recknagel stuff was significantly cheaper from Wolverine as it comes directly from Germany instead of through the US with additional markups.

Brownells will also ship NECG items to Canada, incase you want to get more stuff from other manufacturers and ship it all in the same box.

Companies that export from the USA have to do alot of paperwork and registration with BTAF and ITAR, many smaller companies can't justify the hassle and expense for the small piece of pie represented by the Canadian market. However, if the OEM company has done the registration, the retailers, such as Brownell's can export the product too. NECG will ship direct to the Canadian buyer, I have received many orders from them directly.

The last time I checked Brownells wasn't restocking the NECG items, I had to bite the bullet and order direct.

That’s an unfortunate turn of events, Brownells was my go to for NECG.

Brownells nor NECG have the multi-gauge unit for shotguns. Hence the screw-in chokes, this tool is redundant, except for the old fix choke shotguns.

Possible that Connecticut Shotgun doesn't have an export licence, that has to be purchased, maybe they don't export any guns either. I gather that is a tool? I'd think it'd be exempt any ITAR type regs, but, they probably don't even know about that. Probably a PITA way to do it, but, you could get IRG or Prophet to get it for you. Lot of US vendors, mfgrs are in that boat, no need for an export lic, expensive to train for and have someone around to do it, and a hassle to process paperwork, so, they don't bother with it. They don't know how to do it, and don't want to, even on exempt product that just requires invoice copies on the inside/outside of the box and a declaration.
