Neck Sizing 6.5x284

I'm hoping to neck size brass for the 6.5x284 barrel burner. I have Lapua brass on order and can figure out the bushing size but I thought I would ask which Redding or Wilson bushing you might be using. Then I can get onto ordering the Redding dies and bushing/s of course. Thanks.

You can buy a Forster bushing bump neck sizing die that comes with three bushings. This die gives you the added benefit of being able to push the shoulder back when needed "AND" three bushings.

If you have a standard SAAMI chamber I would recommend full length resizing with the Forster die.

NOTE, You will get less neck runout with the Forster full length die than with bushing dies. Bushing dies work best with custom tight neck chambers, and at the custom Whidden die website they tell you they get less runout with standard non-bushing full length dies.

Thanks for that information. Yes the rifle is a Savage 116 as I wanted a carry rifle but I want to ensure the best accuracy with handloads. So the barrel will be standard saami. Thanks again for your assistance.
