I have a quick question for you guys that use a Dillon RT 1200/1500 trimmer for 223. How do you setup your sizing die to adjust the neck of of the case after trimming? I have read to back off the die and lower just the expander ball to adjust the neck, but I don't know how much to back it off, so I don't over work the brass. These aren't precision rounds, just setup for bulk plinking rounds to practice drills at the range and course use. Thanks.

I called Dillon tech support and asked them this exact question. The gentleman there told me to partially resize first, then use the trimmer die to bump the shoulder back to where you need it to fit your case gauge or chamber. That's what I've been doing and it seems to work well. Hope this helps.

Could you tell me a bit more about the partial resizing? And also how do you find seating bullets after all said and done? Thanks
