neck sizing - not for hunting rounds ?

FL re-sizing of hunting ammo is a long accepted practice to reduce the possibility of a feeding or extraction issue, in a situation where reliability is more important than accuracy. Tactical or hunting situations come to mind. For the same reason, while some rifles like some bullet touching the lands in order to shoot most accurately, this is a less than optimal choice for a tactical or hunting application. Neck re-sizing versus FL re-sizing may give you an edge of bits of an MOA in accuracy. A failure to feed may give you a missed opportunity, in a situation where you will not be able to realize the wee bit of an MOA increased accuracy anyway.

YMMV. That's why experience is such a good teacher. Note the words "may" "optimal" "possibility" "failure." There are darned few absolutes.
