neck tension

I am assuming that you are using bushing style dies? I measure the outside diameter of a loaded round then subtract the amount of neck tension that I want. This is the inside diameter neck bushing that I use. e.g. measured loaded round outside neck diameter = 0.239 and I want 0.002 neck tension, I will use a 0.237 bushing in my neck sizing die.

That's also assuming you have a loaded round to begin with and your brass has the same neck thickness as the loaded round.;)

Measure the thickness at the neck. Multiply this number X2, add your bullet diameter, now subtract .002" and there you have your bushing size:cool:
