I'm about to try my hand at neck turning for the first time. I'm just wondering if I am setting up the correct way. 223 caliber with a Forster neck turner if that matters.
I have fire formed my brass, the 224 mandrel is an easy sliding fit onto the brass. My intention is to use my Lee collet die to slightly increase the tension on the mandrel before turning. Does this sound like the correct way to proceed or should I be using a regular neck die?
