Hi all. I love Rugger 10/22's so much I own three and their all tricked out
in different ways.
At some point over the winter while one of my riggs was apart I've lost one of my cross pins. I contacted Rugger US and they gave me the name Snap-Shots in the wonderful province of Quebec. THREE months later I'm still waiting for the part!

HELP PLEASE! If any one knows where I may find this simple part.
Here's a pic http://www.alpharubicon.com/leo/triggerruger1022.htm
Thank you in advance

Bad news...I have no idea where to get one.

Good News...I lost one last year, and replaced it with a section of drill bit I cut off...and it works flawlessly.

I have an old Gevarm E-1... The "cross pins" in that were a hollow rolled piece of metal. I was taking it apart one day and the punch I was using just shattered the pins...... I will admit I kinda freaked out for a minute! :bangHead: :runaway:

I then took an old screw dirver (I have a bunch, I'm an electrician so I usually replace all my screwdrivers every year or two) it happened to be the perfect diameter of the holes, so I cut it down to make new pins..... Problem solved!

I also agree with effingoof..... a drill bit, in retrospect, would have been better!

Where were you 4 years ago!!!! :D

Cheers

Same here....

Lost the pin to my mag release/bolt release.

Fitted a drill bit shaft to the hole, measured and cut.

Still there today...:D

Thank you to all of you for the wonderful tips.
I'm thinking of going the drill bit root but I do
appreciate knowing where to get OE parts
should I want them.

I will post results when done.

Thank you for the offer AR15. But no need to give the feds the 56 cents.

I tried a 3/16" drill bit and it fits very well. I should have an infinite supply.
