Title says all.....I need help to find 25/35 Winchester ammo. My girlfriends Grandfather has handed down his 25/35 Winchester to her this Christmas and she has one box of ammo and seems to be having difficulties finding more. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It will be a long and difficult search and expensive, the last factory stuff I seen was at a show and very old...$4.00 a cartridge.. Only made by ammo manufacturers every few years and not in great quantity. Best save the brass and start reloading. I do and brass can be made from the ever present 30-30 brass. I like my 25-35 for deer.

Winchester still makes 25-35 according to their website. Super-X 117 grain. Ask your friendly neighbourhood gun shop to get a few boxes for you with their next shipment.

No problem buying it at any of the bigger southern Ontario gunshow. Likely about $25/box. Orangeville show would be a good bet if you live in Ontario.

Yes, still listed by Winchester, so any local shop should be able to get it in. We do not carry Winchester.

You can also get it in Sellier and Bellot and RWS as 6.5x52R

Try Ellwood Epps I've had some luck there in the past.

I bought a New Winchester 1894 ( Japan made) in .25-35 from Ellwood Epps , a year ago . At that time they had no ammo. in stock .
I found 3 boxes of Hornady # 8277 at Triggers & Bows ( southern Ont. ) . $45. / box of 20 .
Since then I load with Hornady 117 gr. # H-2520 , using 23.5 gr. of 3031 powder & a WLR primer .

With winchester producing a rifle in 25-35 again hopefully there will be some more interest in factory ammunition. I make 25-35 brass from 30-30 brass and load with hornady 117 rn for 2000 fps. Another option is casting 120 gr. The rifle I load for is over 100 years old and is still flopping deer where they stand.
