Need 300RUM Reload Info Please...

I have thread in reloading section but figured might get quicker response here.
I'm in the process of starting to load for my RUM and I need some info please.

Will be using Lee Die's, Press Is a Lyman...My Question is do I need a Lyman Shell Holder, or will any make shell holder work?
And which number shell holder will I need to use?

Looking for this info so I can place my order for all the components to get underway...Thanks In advance guys!!

Well I have a #2 shell holder here and its not quite big enough. Would I need #1 or #3???

I have a 26" barreled Rem 700 LSS in 300RUM only thing I have done to the rifle was I glass bedded it, adjusted the trigger to 3lbs and installed a Kick-Eez recoil pad loaded with 94grs Retumbo & 200gr Accubonds gives me 3200fps and great accuracy...

I'm not too sure what shell holder you need since I use LEE dies and they all come with the appropriate shell holder.

That said, I saw a set complete set of shell holders that will cover all of your needs at Cabela's today. I think it was like $18-20 or something.

Thanks Boys...placing my order tomorrow. Have decided on Retumbo and Accubonds...just can't make mind up 180s or 200s. Hmmmm

My RUM shoots best with 200's. Also on big game i find the heavier bullets hold together better. But the 150 scirroco's work nice on gophers

I had the same delema = I started with .520 BC 180gr Scirroco's @ a top load of 3380fps but liked the idea of a heavier higher .588 BC 200gr Accubond a lot better...
