Need .45 and .455 bullets - please help

I am loading some .45 ACP and some .455 for a Webley. I am after some 265 grain hollow base bullets for the .455 and hope that the same supplier can provide me the .45 ACP lead.

I am in Edmonton.

Does anyone know who I should speak to to find the right stuff.

Please let me know.

Try Ben Hunchack on this forum, I have bought a number of different cast bullets from him. Prices and service are excellent and Ben is very knowledgable about everything relating to cast bullets and shooting them.

For the .455, try the Hornady swaged 250 grain bullets. They are not hollow base, but they are very soft and in my experience have worked well in a .455. P&D had some the last time I looked.

The one I've recently picked up belonged to a shooting buddy that passed away a short while ago. When it was offered to me by another friend handling the estate details for the family, I thought why not and I've since purchased a number of his firearms. But again with the Webley as I've mentioned previously, everyone interested in handguns should at some point in time should own a Webley.

Smokepole used to cast a 255gr keith style SWC that shot incredibly from my mkII. Haven't seen him around here lately and not sure if he's doing any casting anymore...

I'd eventually love to get one of the earlier models with the birdshead grip but it seems most of those have the "too dangerous for civilian ownership" 4" barrels, the possession of which would apparently sway me to go out and commit Dastardly Deeds upon the unsuspecting populace.

Alas, work ("the curse of the drinking class", as O. Wilde quipped) has so far prevented me from setting aside the time to set up my new reloading/gun room and get my Mk. VI out to the range.

One and the same. Sorry, I should've mentioned that earlier. It's just that all the 'details' and the paper work has finally taken place.
