For a 1917 S&W revolver? There is no such thing as .455 S&W. Your buddy's revolver uses .455 Webley. aka .455 Eley.

Your buddy have the dies? Epps will likely have them too. Or they can get them. Redding makes the dies. Epps may have loaded ammo too. They'll ship, but it won't be cheap if he opts for loaded ammo.
Fiocchi makes the loaded ammo. Talk to your local gun shop. They may be able to order some.
