Need 50m zeroing target for .308 hunting rifles

Well - Zeroing a scoped 308 at 25 will not give you bang on at 100 - you'll likely be shooting 6 in high ... Lots of folks that have done the hunt camp beer can sight-in have found this out the hard way.

Thanks, cariboo_kid ... a very wise response.

Pardon me if i wasn't very clear at first; i don't have alot of knowledge with .308 rifles/ballistics, as my hunting experience is more with small game & waterfowl, while my shooting knowledge is more with revolv./pistol/AR15.

Yes, I was looking at the M14 battlezero (25m-250m) 'cause I'll probably use my M14 in service rifle comps. (not just short range hunting).

So, in summary, we'll do an initial sight-in at 25m, then try out our rifles at 50m, 75m, 100m, 200m, ...
Nothing better than practice, right ?
