I am looking for a 9mm load for a 124g FMJ Flat Point. I would like to use Tite group or W231 powder. My Hornady manual say's a COL of 1.050 but does not list either of the powders I listed.

Hodgdon doesn't list anything either.

Any input for a starting point would be appreciated.

Thanks,

The COL seems a bit short to me. I have had great results using 124g flat point plated bullets with 4.2 grains of Titegroup. COL for me is 1.11. Plated lands somewhere in between lead and FMJ for amount of powder so 4.2 might be a light but acceptable load for your bullets.

"...Hodgdon doesn't list anything either..." Hi. Use their 125 grain jacketed data on their site. One grain of bullet weight won't matter. Do not use the 124 gr LCN data.
