Can someone with the Lee Handloading manual look up 9mm 124gn FMJ.. looking for the grains of WSF and OAL to seat the bullet.. basically need a recipie for this bullet using WSF :)

thanks!

ps-also, does the load data show what lee dipper can be used?! I'm hoping its .5

Good place to ask...

I have the Lee hand loader for 9mm but there is no recipe for 115gr FMJ with HS-6 powder. There are recipes for lighter bullets but not the 115gr

Would someone with the Lee manual post the recipe and the min OAL?

Thanks

The Lee book has 6.7 for a min up to 7 grains HS6 and a min col of 1.125 with 115 grain jacketed bullet.

"...Lee dipper..." Pitch 'em. They can vary the powder charge plus or minus a full grain.

yeah, i'm traveling ... get bored in the hotel room. if i find the right recipie where the lee dipper is in the lower half of the recipie, then i should be okay to use em.

be putting them through a new MP9mm so i'm sure it'll be able to handle the little bit of flux from the dips! But alas, now to look at other powders .. anyone have any recommendations for a good dippable powder I can use the .5 dipper with?

Gonna need the powder name thats compatible with the .5 dipper, the case trim too length, and the overall length to seat the bullet to :)

I think you'd need a very dense powder to vary the charge + or - 1 full grain on the smaller dippers....suppose it would be possible with the bigger ones though, and depending how you dipped it. The key is consistency in your method.

One method that works for me is .......wait for it......paper towel mushed/squished into the bottom of the dipper. I use this for loading the 38 S&W. Of course you need a scale for this to work. Once you have the right amount of paper in there, scoop the powder the same way every time.

Do you have a scale slushee?

Don't worry about trimming straight wall automatic pistol brass Slushee. They will split wide open long before they stretch to maximum length.
