Need a bold for a Cooey Sureshot 22

Hello,

Am new to your forum. Just wondering if you might have any advice about where I might find a bolt for a Cooey Sureshot, single shot 22. It was my grandfather's gun and would like to get it shooting again. The bolt has been missing in action for a few years.

Am near the Ottawa area. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciate.

not sure if this is the same thing but I have an unused bolt for a cooey 39 single shot.

don't know if it would fit though...

I have a model 39 that has the marking "sureshot' on the barrel...

Post a picture of the gun and we'll let you know for sure what it is,that will save the guesswork and shipping cost if it's not a 39

It would probably cost more for the 2-way mailing than to buy and chance it. I also have found thru the internet that the sureshot is a 39...which is probably interchangeable with the 75 and 750 models.

If and when you get your bolt, I would have it checked by a qualified smith. Even though the bolts appear the same, I think that each gun is head spaced to the individual bolt. It should be pressure tested.
