The reason why I'm confused i that I called both Canadian distributors listed on the bluegun website.

One could sell them to me no problem but at a hefty price and the other said that he can't sell to civilians because it's prohibited.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

TSE sells orange training guns. Just a big hunk of $40 plastic. Yep, legal.

Are you thinking working simunition firing Glocks?

No, they are just blue rubber. The orange ones aren't tough enough for kydex molding on the long term, that's why I want the blue ones.

I can't see why they would NOT be legal but that's what a distributor told me so he got me confused lol.

They are approved for import, at least the orange ones from Blackhawk are, I just got some for my IDPA club. Not sure if the states is allowing the blue guns in from other companies, although sometimes the exporters just aren't interested in sending them up for various reasons.

I believe that was sarcasm....

The blue guns ARE legal, just tough to track down. I thought I remembered seeing some in DS Tacital at one point. Dunno if they've still got them, but its worth a call.

Correct me if I'm wrong, for I may well be, but I believe the kinds of items deemed replicas would be the sort that have multiple assembled parts, like metal slides, frames, magazines, etc versus just being a solid, molded piece of plastic.

The blue ones which some are sold by Berretta as training guns are legal in Canada as my Chief Gun Officer at our club has them. He had to go to his PO box in the states to pick it up but its 100% legal to bring in and use for whatever purpose you wish to. He is useing it for teaching purposes of course.

Are you serious? f:P:

Any links to confirm what you're saying? If blue pieces of rubber are really prohibited I will lose all hope in this country.

Even if they ARE legal I would not get your hopes and expectations raised too high when it comes to the common sense contained in any country of the free world these days..... :D

Blue guns are legal as long as you don't paint them black. If painted black, they become prohibited as they would resemble a real gun... and you could also get shot by the police.

I have used the blue ones and i have a green one that I ordered on ebay and they shipped to my canadaian po box. The green one is of equal strength as the blue ones
