Light 9mm loads may not drop the steel. Depends on how you rig them.

If you've considered a Browning 1922 I would NOT suggest it - my girlfriend had one, and it was a great little gun, but being so small, even the .380 made the thing kick like a mule! She went to a Glock-17 in part because the felt recoil was much less...

I just started shooting in May. I have been shooting a CZSp01. I am really happy with it. Easy to handle best 9mm around. She would have choice shooting Standard or Prodcution

Walther P99(9mm), it comes with the modular grip panels so that you can adjust the fit.

Depending on how much you would like to spend or not spend Questar is bringing in the Sig "239 Tac". It is 9mm with an extended barrel and is small enough to fit smaller hands. They are reputed to be very accurate though I have yet to shoot one, but hey it's a "classic" Sig how could you go wrong?
