Need a light contour, stainless barrel, Krieger's No.5's too heavy

I'm building a precision rifle for mountain hunting, long shots are the norm and it's on a titanium Satterlee Mauser, so I want to make use of the lightweight action and match the action's quality. I wanted to go Krieger, however they only go as light as No.5 in stainless. What others would you suggest? Any other good single point cut rifled options in stainless, very light contour? It will be a 7x57.

Why not get your gun plumber to turn it to your specifications?

Krieger's barrels are stress free. It is not uncommon for people to have them turned down. The other option is simply go Chromoly steel which can be gotten in your contour of choice.

Line dropped, sent you an email Ian look forward to learning about it. I'm hoping to do 1-8" which is likely too much to hope for on the in stock, but we shall see.

Turning down, been thinking about it, and is an option for sure.
