Need a load for .45acp using Vihtavuori

I want to give this stuff a try, I hear its super clean and consistent, Searched the intarweb and found lots of controversial answers

Bullet with be a jacketed 230gr RN

Gun will be a 5" 1911

Found this just Googling around

From the Hornady manual...for 230 grain XTP...Viht. N340

Start load = 5.6 grains @ 700 fps
5.9 grains @ 750 fps
6.1 grains @ 800 fps
6.4 grains @ 850 fps
Max load = 6.7 grains @ 900 fps

230 grain XTP's work great in my gun at an OAL of 1.23...which is the OAL suggested by Hornady in the manual.

My pet load for carry, hunting, and accuracy is...almost, but not hardly +P
Remington brass
CCI 300 primers
230 grain XTP bullet
7.0 grains of Power Pistol (Power Pistol has been the best for me...max velocity)
OAL 1.23
crimped to .468

820 fps from my 4.25 inch barrel

Found this just Googling around

The load data from the VihtaVuori reloading manual is slightly different but in the ballpark.

I use 6.1 gr of N340 with the 230 grain FMJ-RN, but I find using 6.2 gr of N340 with the 200 gr Berry's FN is a much more accurate load.
