Need a moose/ long range gun

I wouldn't even consider taking an F/O rifle hunting any more than I would a light varmint class bench rest rifle .
Nor would I look at a high BC .277 bullet for F/O but I'm sure there must be someone winning Provincial amd National matches with them, I just have not heard of them

In the rifle options he is considering???? Like i have said before most anything can work for most things....you just have to sacrifice...
Pointing out what your Fclass rig does means little when hes looking at a Ruger American..im betting he wont turn his own bullets either so again....where is the comparison??
The guy wants a 270 in any if hus choice rifles....go for it just understand it wont be phenomenal at both a moose getter and a LR target gun.. none of the rifles on his budger list will be show stoppers in any case....so just go buy one and have fun.
