Need a part for a WW1 Lewis gun

A friend just bought a 1914 aircraft Lewis gun...it's for the top wing or for the observer...we need the rear plate that has the handle on it..yah I can get a handle but we need the plate that fits in the reciever and has the mounts for the handle on it....anyone know where I can get one???failing that any one know where I can get the blue prints for that part??

Whitby is on the East side of Toronto. Plan a long drive to the National Aviation Museum in Ottawa. Their library stacks are in a little wind (sort of an airplane joke) beside the big building. If you warn (ie ask) the curator that you are coming, they may have the records on aviation armaments ready.
 
Last one I saw was on E-bay a couple of years ago and it went for big bucks.
Of course, E-bay won't let us sell MG parts there anymore so that door's closed.
I will PM you the e-mail for a guy in the States who may be able to help you out.
