where can i get a good and cheap revolver. preferably in .38 or .357?? i was thinking something similar to a Smith and Wesson 686.

At the top of the page on the left hand side there is a banner for Armco, click there, and go to his used guns section. Something there might grab your attention.

...and someone may grab your money Laugh2
Just a few of many adventures of Armco's clients here:

I gotta say I was a Ruger revolver fan myself but I just got a S&W 686-5 in a trade and daaaaamn thats a fine piece. Trigger is day and night. Dont be affraid to pick a used on the EE to bring price more reasonnable.

Well anytime I have dealt with Gunner I have had no problems and have received courteous and prompt service. However if you would like to hear about some other people I have some real horror stories.

S&W Model 19. You won't regret it.

I don't!

I have a 4.2 686 and love it! If you want something similar get a Taurus. (Rugers aren't similar IMO). They make good revolvers. I used to have their Raging Bull in .44mag no complaints at all, still miss it but Smith take most of the pain away :D

I believe that your experience is true Dave. However Gunnar is lately well known for acting like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. He lied to me over one of our transactions and I think that in the best interest of the general public is to inform them about that. My experience was shared by many. Armco threads are popping up on regular basis here.

Could your up front attitude be a factor?

I have, never, ever had an issue with Gunnar. I have bought guns, traded guns and had all sorts of gunsmithing done. With no issues.
