Need a simple piece of metal custom made

So I have a Hilux Malcolm USMC 8x Scope that the stupid pope rib fell out rending the scope useless. Hilux won't sell me a replacement so I'll have to have one custom made by someone. It is a simple straight piece of metal so shouldn't be too hard but no one in town in interested in making one so I'm hoping someone here can.

The piece I'm talking about is the rib piece on top of those scope that goes through the rings.



I'm just trying to see if Hilux will even send me the measurements so I can get one made hopefully by someone here.

Hilux claims it was soldered in but mine obviously wasn't.

It's called a Pope rib. A few places in the states will sell you one that will clamp onto your 3/4" scope. Buffalo Arms in Idaho sells them and will ship to Canada.

That's what I was thinking. JB Weld the damn thing, used that stuff to great effect.

Here is the one that Dan Zimmerman sells. It clamps on. His stuff is very high quality and I believe it's the one Buffalo Arms sells. You want to make sure that the width is exact. You don't want significant play between the rib and the rail. Montana Vintage Arms might also sell you one if they have the spare parts around. Theirs are fastened with very tiny screws believe it or not.
