Hi guys, I need a sling stud to stick a bipod on my USGI synthetic stocked M305, I'm thinking the type with the thin nut to secure inside the stock would be best. Clearance inside the stock is minimal so the nut has to be slim. I JB welded in a coarse wood thread stud that I cut down but don't feel confident in its strength. Any suggestions? (Uncle Mike's, can't remember the item #, looked good if only I can find a Canadian source)

#5 AR15 harris bipod mount I used.

just get a stud with machine threads, they are 10-32 thread, and then use a regular 10-32 nut and washer epoxied inside.

I've got a bag of them, if you need one in Vancouver, PM me
