Need a source for 6.5 Creedmore brass

It was an article in Handloader magazine by John Barsness. I believe he used the cream of wheat method and found it to be painless and simple. Given the plethora of 22-250 brass out there I'd give it a whirl if I was lucky enough to have a 6.5Creedmore
 
Last spring when I was getting my hunting rifle rebarreled, I decided to go with the 6.5 creedmoor because everytime I walked through wholesale sports there was always lots of brass on the shelf. Its almost like everyone in Canada had the same idea. I feel your pain:(

I went and found the issue, it was June 2011 issue#272 and yes the COW method was used and John wrote that the cartridge length was at or just slightly under the creedmore length.
Seems like a easy method.
Not being able to find some 358 brass a few years ago I proceeded to make 50 rounds out of a bunch of 30-06 brass and that worked great. It took some time and my small lathe but I ended up with some good brass.

I am sure you could take 243 brass and work some magic and end up with creedmore brass.

I use both Hornady Creedmoor brass and fire formed 22-250 PVRI and the fire formed brass seems to be better quality and was a lot less expensive.

Good to know Mike! The option to easily fireform brass is one of the big draws to the 6.5creedmoor for me. If I didn't have 3 kids under 4 and a tighter than usual budget right now it'd be at the top of my list.
 
I'm thinking of buying 3 more boxes of Hornady factory ammo just for the brass, there's also a tutorial on YouTube how to make .308 brass to 6.5CM. But you need to have a doner die to bump the shoulder
 
I'm in the opposite position. I bought brass and bullets, couldn't find dies. decided not to buy a rifle until everything came "readily" available.
I have virgin Hornady brass and an unopened box of 6.5 140gr SST.
maybe I should sell it so its not just sitting there, and maybe one of you guys can use it?

I always get my dies through Sinclair.
