Hi guys, I need your help. I am working on a deal for a full wood P14. I'll get the perticulars and post them soon. It is in very good shape. Bore is clean wood is all original. All matching Ser#s. What would you sell it for, not buy it for. I'll try to get pics of it ...but for now what is the average price of one in good to very good shape? Thanks for your help in advance!

That is a good place for me to start. thanks guys. I'll still try to get pics up soon...I just posted my first pic yesterday, so now that I have the cherry popped there should be more coming! Regards, Hitch

The devil is in the details.

I paid $475 for an original Winchester P-14 with the volley sights and brass disk intact, and it came with a WWI dated 1907 sling. I thought it to be a fair price.

For a P-14 that went through Weedon for repair, post WWI, with the volleys and disk removed and plugged and the condition was very good or better, I'd start at $375 or $400 and go up from there. $450 or above is too much. IMO. Maybe for a Winchester, but it had better be good.

Dirtytwo is right on the slight mark up for Winchesters.

P-14 prices have been fairly consistent over the past several years as there was never really much interest in them, but they are an excellent rifle.

Price is right depending on what you deem it is worth... but when you think about it, the P-14 really is an undervalued rifle. At $400 it is worth it as they shoot very well. Still not as nice as a N04 Longbranch, but nicer than No1's and brit No4's - so worth the premium IMHO.
I love my Winny P-14, and soon hope to add a P-17!
Post pics - love to see the old gals!

I'll get all my old girls together and have a group photo!!
Lebel, P-14, 1908, Enfield, the other full wood P-14 if I get it., and the bastardized SKS.
regards, Hitch
Note: I never really thought of myself as a mil surp collector but when I list them it does sound like it!!
