I currently have a ta31-ch that I really like, but I am really tempted by the ta33 horseshoe. I shoot clays and paper at 100, and clays and steel at 200. I feel that the horseshoe will be a bit less cluttered than the crosshairs for what I do, and don't imagine that 3x will be much of a change from 4x for my purposes. I am just a bit worried about the smaller FOV.

Any help from people that have used one or the other, or both would be great.

Fov is only an issue if you are closing an eye. The BAC only works if you keep both eyes open and fov becomes a non issue. The TA33 is pretty sweet. Compact, light, and still enough magnification to be an advantage. The biggest plus it has over the TA31 is eye relief. An easy 2.5" plus. Horseshoe is pretty slick as well.

Pm me, i might know a guy selling a TA33 ;)

Chevron the least cluttered of the 3. Horseshoe is faster at short range.

TA11F 3.5x35 is a bit large-ish compared to newer models, but eye relief is really good and chevron is great for precision shooting.

I've owned every Acog ever made (almost) - and my favourite is the TA33. The TA31 I like the least, and the TA11 second best.

The TA33 horseshoe is much more cluttered than the chevron in my opinion - that said I have no issues ringing the gong at 400 with mine. Keep in mind that the FOV is like looking through a straw on the TA33 - but the eye relief is ridiculously good.

FOV is the only downside to the TA33 - and it matters more for some than others. Only you can decide.
