Actually lookin for my dad. He needs this for pest controll in a semi rural env. IE. crows magpie squirrels and the odd skunk. I know a real .22 rifle wich i use where i live would be better but sadly the neighborhood has become more populated in the last 20 years and noise is an issue. I have read a pile of reveiws and all seem to be good. Looking for some advice dont want to make the wrong decision with his $$.

great reviews and 70% quieter than the regular spring systems. A little heavy and quite large compared to other airguns. But an excellent rifle. Also available in 1500 fps.

I have this in .22, with the GSX trigger... Its great, and I use it for the same reasons... Its quiet and pewerful enough... It shoots about 900 fps at 15 grains... nuff power to deal with the yard things... Very powerful for the noise level... I would suggest it, with the trigger upgrade. The stock trigger is rough... the upgrade is about 40 dollars.
