Need advice ........Cooey Model 60

yes i think mine is an early one didn't even come with a serial number.....it has one now

there is not much of a reciever can you guys give me a make and model of the actual mount so i can eyeball it ?

is the model 60 the early version of the model 600? I have model 600 Winchester Cooey and I use to have a cheap scope on it. The rifle was tapped on the side and you could buy the mount bracket which came with the four screws to hold it in place from Canadian tire in the 60's. Then the mounts attached to that. If anyone knows what I'm talking about I would love to find the set up again because try as I might I can't find mine. I put it away so I could find it later :(

the base assembly for the side mount is a weaver #2 at sir, cat.#641202, the side mount is a weaver item #640087, it has the rings attached. the tops of the rings unscrew and comes off of course, but the side mount attaches to the side base with knurled lock nuts. total cost without scope $41.38. a trip to your local gun shop and you should be able to see it yourself, if they have them in stock.
