Need Advice - Installing Magpul UBR

Need your help again guys.

I have a Stag 20" that I just purchased a Magpul UBR to replace the standard A2 buttstock. Am I correct that I will need to purchase a carbine length buffer and spring as well as the wrench to remove and install? Is there anything else that you foresee me requiring?

Also, which buffer will I require? Heavy or H2?

I thought the UBR comes with a special buffer tube made only for the UBR. Do you have the stock in your hands yet or did you just order it?

I have the stock and the buffer tube, apparently what I need is a carbine size buffer and spring as the full length buffer and spring will not work with the UBR.

It's outside the box, but did you consider emailing Magpul and asking them for a definitive answer?

true...you need an M4 (carbine) length buffer and spring. An H or H2 buffer will work (I tend to use the H2's)...

What makes you decide between a H and an H2?

Also back out the 4 screws that hold the top part of the stock to the buffer.
If they are in all the way and you push the stock onto the buffer then you may accidentally scratch the buffer tube.

My UBR installed in under 5 minutes.... Loctite the appropriate screws when you've mounted it.

happy faces on both sides. Back them out a turn or 2 then mount/tighten (not over tighten)
