Need advice on an upper for AR15

Hi fellow CGN'rs, in the market for an upper. Carbine length. Any experience with RRA 6.8 SPC2, one in 10 twist? The price is right at Questar.
Also Wolverine has Sabre Defense XR 15, 11.5 inch upper in .223 for a decent price. Any guys with experience owned one of them?

Compromise for what? Shooting paper?

If you were talking non-restricted and wanted to hunt with it I could see 6.8 but I don't really see the point on a range only gun. Unless you plan on using it for hunting stateside I wouldn't bother.
 
Good point terminal effects don't matter much on paper targets, was thinking I'd like to have the option to hunt with it in the US. I guess it would need to be 16" then also. Anyone know who imports Daniel Defense uppers up here?
