Need advice on scopes for a WK180

Wow thank you all for the responses! I'll be using the WK for mostly plinking initially, I am curious about 2/3 gun matches however that won't be till much later down the road.

I saw the vortex diamondback is on sale currently, I'll do a bit more researching but that one is seeming like a great candidate

Thanks!

The regular diamondback(haven't tried a HP one) will leave you searching for the eye box in my experience, a nikon or leupold would be a better choice. More forgiving in my experience.

I have a leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40 on my WK180-C and it has worked well thus far. I am a big believer in the durability of leupold scopes, I have a VX-2 on my hunting rifle that has been dropped, fallen on, and generally abused and it has never lost zero.

Like mentioned Nikon makes some excellent optics for very low prices! Super clear glass, crisp bright reticles and my favorite feature... easy lift up to reset to zero turrets covered by caps!

The Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6 or 1-8 compliments tactical .223s really well and is also relatively low cost.

I also have a Burris AR332, also a great optic, but honestly a Strike Eagle or similar optic offers more for the money.
