Hey all,
I'm a broke-ass student but want to get a cheap single barrel for shooting clays. I was going to get a used cooey 12ga single barrel for $75, but just found that Le Barons has a Stoeger single barrel on for $119. It has a 3" chamber, and screw in choke tubes. Seems a bit more versatile to me.
How are these? Is the action solid? It says you open the action by pulling back on the trigger guard... does this form work well? I've only ever used the break-actions that had the switch behind the hammer.
Also, do I have to try and track down Stoeger choke tubes or will Remington and other brands fit?
Thanks guys!
