Need advice on which sabots to use.

Hey, i just put a rifled slug barrel on my 1100. I took it up to the farm with an armload of 35 year old slugs. Well long story short, um well it was kind of "random". Anyhow I know I should be using sabots, any recommendations? It is a remington 1100 2 3/4" with a factory 20" rifle slug barrel.

Suggest try Rem Accutips first.....I find that those sabots are the most cost efficient and generally group very well.

Hornady sst slugs and if you don't want sabots rio star/chellanger slugs work great. I've also had good groups with winchester supreme sabots they have a partition bullet 58 cal I believe

I like Winchester Rackmasters and Challenger Slugs (made in Canada!). Both can be fired out of either smooth bore or rifled barrels, and are amongst the cheapest options for rifled barrels. IE they wont bankrupt you.
