Need advice tikka t3x varmint

I just bought a Tikka T3X Varmint .223 from Cabelas.
I’m wondering where I can buy a picatinny rail for it, and if there is something specific I should look for.
I have Cabelas Covenant 30mm diameter scope sitting here ready to mount.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I bought a MDT one, then got second thoughts about using a 20 MOA rail given that its unlikely I'll have access anything close to 800 yards shooting area. I don't see how dialing 18 MOA down is better than dialing 2 MOA up if the scope spends its whole life like that. A 10 MOA rail would be more ideal for me, but those are harder to come by in Canada. I have a Talley 0 MOA one on order from Precision Optics. One thing that's rather pointless on the MDT is the function of the recoil lug unless you bed the receiver pocket with epoxy.
 
I received the Talley 0 MOA rail for T3/T3X. Since the the internet pictures generally just show a generic non-model specific pic rail, I'll mention that the Talley base is extended in the front, so my forward rings clamp a little more forward on the Vortex PST II 3-15 and not all the way back against the turret ball as with the MDT.
 
I have a Tikka T3X Varmint Stainless in .260 Rem. My local gun shop is a Warne dealer so they ordered me a Warne Mountain Tech 20 MOA rail. Price was reasonable. It worked good, no problems. Note that it does not have the Tikka rail recoil lug. I have no data suggesting the rail moves, and I used medium Loctite for the screws and it felt really solid. So I give the Warne a thumbs up.

Later I purchased a benchrest scope and decided to upgrade my rings to a Near Manufacturing Alphamount, and I decided to match that with Near's stainless steel 20 MOA rail. Near makes this rail with the Tikka recoil lug milled into the base. So far its working excellent. Costs more than the Warne, so it depends what your preference is.
 
I use Burris 2 piece bases & rings on all my Tikkas. Solid, never any issues, nice and trim - look good, very reasonably priced. Never seen the need for a clunky bulky rail.

I use Talley's on all my Tikka's and one Steyr, they are 20 moa as I shoot long. Some scopes interfere with the forward part of the rail, simply cut some of the extended portion off to fit, dab wound with a magic marker and you are good to go.
 
I have the T3 sporter in 204 Ruger I bought once and cried once - you can not go wrong with Optlocs rings/basis your scope WILL NOT move once you install these - I did not have to re-zero my scope since I installed these a couple years ago - yeah there that good

I put low, 30mm Talleys on my .308 Tikka and haven't looked back.
 
Factory CTR rails come up on the EE frequently and they are low-profile, made of phosphate coated steel and use the factory recoil pins.
Cheap and bombproof for someone who won't be shooting past 800yds
