Got a problem I think with my 1911. If I hold down the trigger while cocking the slide the hammer drops once it returns to battiery. Also if I have the slide of I can not #### the hammer. All I have done is replace the sear spring. Is this normal with a competion sear spring?

You have to make sure the "sear spring" aka the three finger spring has the correct "bends" in each of the three fingers. Each finger is responsible for a different function. Not having the correct bends in the spring could cause what you are describing.

Put the stock sear spring back in & see if the problem goes away. But when you have it apart compare the two springs. The replacement should have the same "bends" in it that the stock one does.

Is this just more proof that norc's are no good?

Words Twice

Yup, that's it - damn Chinese crap

Of course I haven't heard a lot of "proof" from people who may have actually owned one, never mind put enough rounds through one to be needing a spring change. I have put enough rounds through mine to require a spring change, with no issues.
