I have to order parts soon and I'd like to get them all on the same order. I want to put a 30mm tubed scope on a Winchester 94 using a side mount. Has anyone used the B-square mount?

If the picture is of the actual item then it looks like I could just use the weaver rings that came with the scope. Anyone have any alternatives?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You know that mount is for a Model 94 AE "angle eject", right?

Top eject will not work with that mount AFAIK.

Looks like a nice mount. I would prefer a "scout" style mount if I was scoping a 94 (which I won't!).

Look at the Kwik-Site KSW94 Side Mount For Winchester 94 further down the page for a "top eject" Mod. 94. Problem is you are limited to a 1" scope tube with that mount.

The top eject 94 can only use a side mount... and the scope often must be turned 90 degrees so the windage adjustment is on the top of the scope, so an ejecting shell clears the scope. This make the elevation adjustment become the windage adjustment and it will be on the left side of the scope. Up has become left and left has become up. The scope hangs quite far of the center of the rifle and you can almost look through it with your left eye...

I think a side mounted scope on a Winchester 94 is a terrible alteration.

in stead of a scope look into a peep sight

an the plus side they will never fog up
and if you are going through heavy brush a branch will never hang up between the scope and the barrel

I will be putting a receiver sight on my Winchester 94 Big Bore .375 Win. (top eject).

A great sighting system that makes for a fast handling, great shooting carbine.

crap , a 30 mil tube on a 94 winny, I want to see it:D
I got a side mount I don't need, if you got a top eject, for a one inch scope, and would go with a mini, or low fixed.
But I have to come clean , those suck, a peep on the rx is choice for a 94.
Got a williams on my SDJ , and a Lyman on my LL.
