As I said I have a hard choice:Wolwerine will sell in this summer both variant :
the nonrestricted CZ 858 and restricted CZ 858 with folding stock.
I love both, but I am afraid that the restricted CZ with folding stock will be prohibited.
Wich of them advise me to buy?
I dont intend to use any variant in the field I need only for range.

well even the non restricted can go restricted than prohib, thats what happened to my akm, now i can't even take it out of the house with the extra prohib status that again was put on it, might as well get the noraml, as it may stay of the restricted and prohib list a little longer, or get the restricted and if it goes prohib, at least you can by at that level of the prohib list.

Non-restricted tend to sell for more $$ and usually sold first. ;)
For non-range use your choice is obvious.

BTW, I wouldn't worry about non-chromlined barrel at all regradless of bbl length.

IF they pronib one they will prohib both. There is no room in the law for adding to the current prohib classes or adding new ones so if they do prohib them then they will likely be taken away. But like Hungry says why worry about what could happen when you can enjoy them now.

That said get the non-res one, you will never notice the extra 3 inches and you avoid all the stupidity that surrounds restricted rifles.

I had the non restricted one. Sure it would have looked a little cooler with the shorter barrel. However, then you must have the gun trigger locked when storing at your home, locked in a container. Valid ATT to and from the range by the most direct route. Stored in a locked container and trigger locked. For three inches of barrel it not worth it to me.

The CZ 858 restricted will remain restricted even with a folding stock.

There is no reason a folding stock will make it prohibited.

But most people are happier with the non-restricted version because of the convience of being able to possess the gun anywhere.

I've owned an AR-15 for a couple of years and transport/storage can be a pain. I camp in the Rockies in the summer and usually take a 12 gauge with jacketed hollow points and lead slugs. This year I will take my non-restricted CZ or my SKS. It's nice to own a fun rifle like the AR, but having the option to carry the others legally is a nice option to have. You may not plan to go anywhere but the range with it, but the ability to bring it for animal defense in the wild is a nice option if you do that sort of thing. My father argued with me about bringing weapons camping until a 65 year old female co-worker told him she and her husband bring their 357's when they go quading up there.
My reasoning was "would you rather I come home with the story that my weapons were going to be confiscated for illegally shooting an animal, or that you are never going to see your grandson again because I helplessly watched him get dragged away by a mountain lion. Maybe you have something else you can take; I'm just giving you something to think about.

For camp I have my SKS with Dragunov stock,I like Restricted with folding stock because itwas the gun of the Special forces in some Communists countries

I'm curious, what type of ammo do you take for bear protection.

Commercial softnose or mil surplus?
