Hey guys/gals a while back I read a post on here about someone challenging us to help get more people into the shooting sports....SO....I went to work and asked a few guys who knew I was a shooter and asked them if there interested in getting their firearms license, then I asked a few more.
Next thing I know I have 7 people that want there rpal before the end of the year if possible and 1 who wants in for next year. Needless to say I was absolutely floored by the response I received and was even more surprised to learn that they are interested in handguns... So now that I opened my big mouth I need a instructor in the Surrey/new west/Richmond area..

They would like to do the course together if possible...

Let me know!!!!!!:dancingbanana:

You could also contact Silvercore Advanced Training in Delta; they have classes in several locations on a regular basis, or can organize a private class at the location of your choice with just a little advance notice.

By the way, it's nice to work in a place with that many people interested in firearms. Any openings? :)

Saperton Fish and Game is putting on a course starting Nov 23, M - T - W night, restricted on Thursday night for those who want that. Test is Saturday morning, but if you can't make it we can do tests on other nights.

Send me an email if you want more information. The course is taught at our range in Queens Park, New West.

Mike K +1000. He's trained me, Bro-in law, sister, wife and coworkers and all agree he's awesome. Too bad he doesn't have a punch card for referrals or I'd have a free Glock by now!

With Christmas fast approaching, time is running out to find that perfect gift. Yes, the Red Ryder BB gun makes an excellent gift, but the knowledge to use it safely and legally is something that will be around long after the BB gun is outgrown.

Responsible firearms activities such as hunting and target practice have strengthened bonds in families and friends for over a century. Many of our staff’s most memorable experiences happened around the campfire after a hunt or on the misty dew set range.

Help preserve the Canadian tradition of safe and responsible firearms use by giving the gift of knowledge this Christmas.

And as an extra bonus, all Silvercore Club members are eligible to an additional 15% off when purchasing gift certificates!

Silvercore has courses running every week to accommodate even the busiest schedule, contact us for more details.

Mike K, definitely. He trained me, by dad, friend, and a bunch of coworkers. He's professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable.

I got my PAL through Silvercore in April and was super impressed with their instructors. I later went back for the Handgun101 and CORE courses. Recently I sent 6 of my friends to get their PAL through them and they were all really satisfied.

WHAT????!!! Infraction? Restricted access "if this continues"? WHAT???!!!

Why am I receiving an infraction? This doesn't make any sense. I posted information about feedback on a PAL instructor (JUST LIKE EVERYONE IS DOING ABOVE AND BELOW ME). Slavex, let people's words speak for themselves. Your sudden deletion of my post is no different from government's random actions related to firearms use without using critical thinking, judgement or insight into the needs of its users. When you try to control me/us, censor me/us, you hurt all of us as a group. I am very disappointed in this action by you. Here is my reasoning for this statement:

Mike K’s name and contact information are publicly available to anyone calling the firearms center requesting an instructor. You can also find his full name and phone number on this site as well as many others (have a look:

Why do you allow positive threads about this instructor to stay but a negative reference by a rightfully upset customer is deleted promptly. So really, what's going on here? Are the two of you friends? Are you being impartial? All I did was provide feedback on an instructor for the benefit of the group ("our" group) so that we can keep up the rights of firearms owners by being licenced and purchasing firearms. We all want good service when we get our PAALS and we want to be able to refer others as well.

Is this the way CGN is run?

This is not a great introduction to someone who has posted his first posting on CGN.

I would like an apology and/or an explanation.

within 24hrs of joining this site you post negative info and make negative remarks about a fellow member. that's called trolling. keep it up and you'll be getting another infraction and then banned. Your so called feedback was posting second hand info about MikeK. unless of course you're the guy who made the original posts on the other forum. Either way your joining here and the first thing you do is post that, is, rather suspicious and fits the information I was previously given about someone who has it out for him, and wants to "ruin" his business (and strangely enough that didn't come from MikeK). So consider yourself warned.
