Jerry, the APRA does not organize matches. The APRA holds the lease on the homestead ranges, the individual stewards of the ranges organize the matches.

You need to get a hold of someone at the Alberta Fullbore Rifle Association. They are the stewards of the 900m range. No they do not use the internet, or maintain a webpage or post phone numbers.

Hi Jerry, will this do?
July 25nd to July 27th - Fullbore Provincial Championship
• Friday - 2+15 each at 300m, 600m & 900m (Lt. Governors)
• Saturday - 2+10 each at 400m & 600m, 2+15 at 500m & 800m (Provincials)
• Sunday - 2+10 at 300m, 2+15 each at 700m, 800m & 900m (Provincials)
I'll check this weekend t the Sierra Match about an earlier practice day.

Feedback so far.

Range will be open Thursday for campers to arrive and there might be opportunity for sight in.... no times or distances or ????

Sign up at the event.

Limited to 54 shooters.

All pretty vague but that is the info I have at this time.

At this point, we are thinking of driving in on Thursday and stay in Cochrane - we need to start making hotel reservations. I believe it was the Comfort inn that we have been staying at. Got it bookmarked somewhere.

Change of plans, we are staying at the Ramada Canmore. Rates are fair and the breakfast buffet sounds just right. Cochrane is packed and prices have soared.

There is a 3 night 20% discount that brings costs inline. High Season in the Rookies... nothing is cheap.

Since there is no official sight in time, coming in a day early could be a waste. Besides, I can likely fudge the sighters at 300m to get on paper and then just add more up as I go along :)

Why don't you guys make a week out of it and shoot Nokomis the weekend before? I'm leaving Friday, it's only 2 days and most of it is 2&10's and best of all, no marking targets.
