Marketing meets engineering. I am sure someone will feels it the next best thing. Will be interesting to see what the field of view looks like.

An interesting solution to a problem that really doesn't exist.

It's just another verision of those old "TV" view scopes. Trying to get an increase in light transmission but compromise on height to keep the total package "low profile". Even Tasco tried it with those "EXP" scopes. Interesting idea, just never been very popular...

I wonder if these will have better seals around the lenses than the old TV tube shaped 1s that Weaver and Redfield tried to market 30 years ago?
They would not seal well at all, hence realy high warranty rate

A supermodel with her front teeth missing ... that feature might actually offer a practical application.

I have one of those mounted on my .270 and think its a great scope. I was abit hesitant at first as I normally have Bushnell Elites and Leupolds on my guns but that EXP is clear and very bright in low light.

Cheers!!

How 'effin low do you want to go? Sighting through that bad boy would be like trying to see under a door.
Ya got big glass? Put risers on. Can't get a good cheek weld? Pad the stock, sniper style  .

I've got a 50mm on my Savage, and I got ~0.012" clearance. Waayyyy too low. Gonna find a 1 piece base and some taller rings.
