Need clarification on Controlled Hunts in Ontario

I've never been a part of a controlled hunt before but now have access to land that is in a controlled hunt area. I've checked the regs a few times but I can't seem to find an answer to my question. I applied for my antlerless tag for 43b and the controlled hunt would be in 85c. I see that the controlled hunt application period is from august 1 to september 2. Can I apply for a controlled hunt in a different wmu then my antlerless application? Or would I be purchasing a second tag for the controlled hunt? Or am I out of luck in getting in on the controlled hunt? Sorry if this are dumb questions but I couldn't seem to find the answers for myself.

Yes , as long as you have only applied for one controlled hunt area. Your antlerless draw is for Bows or rifle areas only...

I asked the mnr this question and this is their reply (copy-paste)

"Thank you for your enquiry. We apologize for the delay in responding to your email.

You may apply to both the Antlerless Deer Draw and the Controlled Deer Hunt. Keep in mind, however, that you only receive one game seal with your deer licence, which can be used for either hunt. If you were successful in both draws, you would either need to purchase an additional game seal (where available) or, for the controlled hunt, party hunt with someone who has a validation tag for the same WMU and same season for which you were successful."

Addition deers seals are available (starting october 15) for 85c... you will have pay for the additional deer tag.

It can be used for either hunt if your controlled hunt tags which determines the animal you can shoot.
