Need Cleaning Kit For A 17 MACH II

Hey all.

Bought a 17 Mach II. Picked up a cleaning kit for it, but don't like how tight of fit it is. Plus it is an aluminum rod.

What would you guys recommend? Would like to get something that won't damge the barrel. Nylon coated rod, bore guide (if made that small....)

buy a .17 bore snake.

Or, use the weed-eater line trick.

Or, push patches through with a wood dowel.

Just read through.

Still not what I think I am really looking for. But sometimes (or most) I don't see the forest for the trees.
