I'm doing the Chiliwack CCW course this Saturday with safeguardguy.

I have chosen my 2 1/2", .38 Special, Airweight SW model 12, K frame revolver for my CCW. This was over my GLOCK 17 and Norinco NP-29 and 4" Llama .357 magnum.

I need good quality, standard .38 Special defense ammo available in Canada. Any suggestions including Canadian suppliers?

I also need a good quality, strong side concealment holster as well as a pocket holster. Any suggestions including Canadian and American suppliers?

I also have an ATC so I could carry the Airweight 12 in the field in the winter when the bears are sleeping but I think that the .357 Magnum is a better choice :D

Hard to find good ammo in canada, look for 158 grn lead hollow points, no jacket. They should be dead soft lead, you can mark 'em with your thumb nail, anything harder and you might as well shoot wad cutters out of a snubby. Nice choice, by the way, it's a easy gun to carry around and conceal. If you can't find the hp's go with a full wad cutter...
