Can someone give me an approximate value for a Thompson Center 54 cal. percussion muzzle loader ser. no. K324###. It has an octagon 29inch barrel, double set triggers and it looks to be unfired. brass is faded because of aging, a few small safe kisses, bluing has faded some on the barrel, no rust, case hardening is in pristine condition, also new large and small powder measure, ball starter, box of 100 swaged lead balls and patches, included is a brass tipped steel range rod with guide.
Thanks joe

The 1:48 twist in the bore is not ideal for PRB but will work, other projectiles work quite well with that twist, in the described condition and given the extras and the set trigger $450 would be a fair price.

Don't tell anyone in our ML club that the TC Hawken is not a good patched roundball gun - been whupped by one more than once.
I agree with the range of price 400-450 depending on close examination of the details and considering that it was a kit gun.

I paid $350.00 for mine with no accs. Mine was not a kit rifle and have seen asking prices as high as $600.00 for them. They are a fine rifle to own...

It is no good send it to me immediately and do not forget the round balls.
1-48 twist is a compromise twist it will shoot slugs as well as PRB. A pure PRB twist will be 1 in 60. 1-66 or even 1-70.
A slug gun will be anywhere from 1-48 to 1-20 twist with 1-32 more common. 400 or so is a good price.

I just bought a .50 caliber Thompson Hawken today at a show. They asked $350.00 but settled for $300.00. I'm just casting up some projectiles as we speak.
